“That’s a great idea, Ed,” I mused. “I’m surprised you came up with it.”
“You damn preening peacock!” Ed muttered.
I chuckled. It was fun to push Ed’s buttons every now and then.
“All right, I’ll give the beast its dues,” I placated Ed. “That really is a good idea. Put a summary together for us about the charity and I’ll see if Vicky is interested in putting together some fund raising events for it.”
“She’s always looking for ways to show off her models and sell dresses. Not to mention pushing her perfumes and colognes. Vicky is perfect to put together high end charity events,” Ed agreed.
“She is, and she has the resources in place in key locations all over the world.”
Ed chuckled. “The positive PR from a campaign of events like that during our Tort lawsuits, will just make Nick Gantry pleased as a pickle.”
“I hope it goes down like the juice of a sour persimmon for him.”
We laughed about that image in our heads while we continued to discuss details of the charity and probable Tort actions.
